The Recruitment Process
Employment Application Form
If you are interested in working with Canvas Holidays then you will need to complete an application form. This can be completed on-line or by calling the Recruitment & Welfare Team who will send out a postal application pack.
Please ensure that you respond to all questions fully and honestly, incomplete applications will be sent back to you requesting the missing detail and so will therefore delay the application process.
Minimum requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Available for at least 8 weeks between March and October (latest start date is 15th July and earliest finish date is 1st September)
Couples/Friends
- We can only accept one application form per person so if you are applying with a partner, you will both need to complete two separate application forms. There is a section to add your partners name on the application form.
Re-Applications
- If you have worked for Canvas Holidays in the last three years then you are not expected to complete the full application form. Please complete a re-application form.
Once your Application form has been submitted
- Once your application has been received we will respond to you within a maximum of 5 working days.
- We can view your on-line application immediately once submitted, so if you would like to ensure that it has been received call the Recruitment & Welfare team and we can check this for you.
- We will contact you via phone or email to confirm if you have been invited to interview. Once the interview is confirmed we will post you details of the interview, including date, location and a disclosure form.
- You may be invited for a position which is different to the one for which you applied. If this happens it is normally due to the dates you are available to work or experience, skills and abilities required.
If You Are Selected For Interview
- Interviews are held at regional locations throughout the UK
- Interviews will take the form of group interviews/assessment days followed by a one to one interview with a member of the Recruitment & Welfare Team
- We will respond to you within 5 working days of your interview. At this stage we will confirm whether your application has been successful, position offered, dates required for work and for full season placements the provisional campsite you have been allocated to.
- We require you to confirm your acceptance of this offer within 10 working days by returning your personal details form and signed contract, in writing by email or post.
- High season positions are not allocated to campsites until closer to their departure date
