Working overseas for Canvas Holidays means ensuring our customers have the best holiday they have ever had. If you are friendly, enthusiastic, independent, resourceful, always ready for a challenge and committed to giving our customers the best holiday experience, then we want to hear from you. You will need experience of working with the public and knowledge of a foreign language is preferred, although not essential. Minimum age is 18 years old.

Training and Support
All our overseas staff will receive comprehensive training either at one of our residential training courses or on your allocated campsite. You will be trained by experienced members of staff who have an excellent knowledge of the job and a good understanding of the on-site roles. You will also be provided with comprehensive handbooks detailing all procedures within the role you will be undertaking.

Travel
Travel will be arranged, from the UK or Holland, to the site that you will be working on during the summer. Once your contract is complete, we will arrange travel back for you to the UK. The date you are travelling will determine the method of transport used, which could be a flight, coach, ferry or train. If it is agreed that you can take your own vehicle then a contribution will be made towards your travel costs, the exact details will be sent with your joining instructions.

What to bring
Please remember that when packing you should ensure your luggage does not exceed 15kgs. Try and limit your luggage to one suitcase or rucksack. This is due to some members of staff being flown to site and many airlines charging for exceeding the limit!!
(You will be responsible for covering any excess baggage charges). We have created a list of Essential items for you to take.

We understand the importance of personal development and actively encourage our staff to move to more senior positions as they gain experience.
